The Select Limited Warranty is available for the following coverage (based on specified model year and mileage requirement):
- 6 months/50,000 miles (whichever comes first)
- 12 months/100,000 miles
- 24 months/200,000 miles
- 36 months/300,000 miles
The Select Limited Warranty program provides coverage on the following components:
- All Internally Lubricated Parts
- Cylinder Head Casting and Capscrews
- Progressive Damage (on covered Components)
- Camshaft and Bearings
- Engine Block
- Rocker Arms and Shafts
- Connecting Rods, Caps, and Capscrews
- Exhaust Manifold
- Spacer Plate or Block
- Crankshaft and Bearings
- Injector Sleeves
- Timing Cover and Gears
- Cylinder Block Casting
- Oil Pump
- Valve Lifters and Push Rods
- Cylinder Heads
- Pistons
- Valves, Valve Springs,and Valve Keepers
- Cylinder Head Gaskets
- Piston Rings and Pins
Transmission Transmission (EXCLUDING Allison) housing and all internal lubricated parts including synchronizers (EXCLUDING gaskets, seals, and mounted parts such as transmission pump, oil cooler, and PTO pump).
Axle housing, axle shafts, differential housing, and all internal lubricated parts (EXCLUDING gaskets, seals, rear axle alignment, and mounted parts such as suspension mounting brackets, hubs, wheel bearings, and brake ends).
Cab structure and sheet metal panels.
Frame rails and crossmembers.

When Included With Select Limited Warranty
For eligible Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star trucks sold by a SelecTrucks Center or Freightliner Dealer. Non-transferable.
Buyer’s Assurance is valid 60 days from the vehicle in-service date. The Buyer’s Assurance program provides coverage on the following components:
- EGR Valves, VPOD & Cooler
- ICU
- Air Compressor
- Clutch
- Radiator
- Brake Drums
- Turbocharger
- Starter
- Fifth Wheel
- ECM
- Alternator
- Air Conditioning*
*Includes condenser, compressor, evaporator, A/C valve, A/C valve controls, blower motors, A/C O-rings, engine fan, and engine fan hub.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service items, adjustments, seals, gaskets, failures due to abuse or lack of scheduled maintenance as outlined in the applicable Maintenance Manual or OEM manual, worn components or failures due to wear out. Progressive damage from a non-warrantable failure, tightening of fasteners, fittings, hose clamps, and electrical connectors, which are considered to be normal maintenance.
Premium charges and work not directly related to the repair or replacement of a warrantable part will not be covered under warranty. Some examples include:
- State/provincial and local taxes
- Driver expenses
- Travel expenses
- Cost of rental equipment
- Road service/calls; towing
- Loss of perishable cargo
- Loss of revenue
- General housekeeping supplies (i.e., rags, solvent, sweeper compounds, etc.)
- Customer and overtime labor
- Communication charges
- Downtime
- Repair or replacement of optional items not sold or installed by OEM

Class 8 vehicles up to 10 years old (current model year plus 9 years) are eligible for service contract coverage. The mileage bands are based upon the vehicle’s odometer reading at the time of sale with service contract coverage expiring at 1,000,000 miles. The term of any Transmission & Differentialor Comfort Package must match the service contract term.
In the event a service contract claim has been approved and all diagnostics have been completed and a truck is under repair for that claim for more than 15 days, we will pay $1,000.If the repair takes longer than 30 days the payment is $2,000.All payments are made to the lienholder or, in the event there is no lienholder, directly to the service contract holder.
Towing expenses to the nearest repair location from a breakdown site are covered.

Used Truck ATS Limited Warranty
Used Truck After-Treatment System Limited Warranty is for eligible Freightliner or Western Star trucks sold by a Freightliner or Western Star Dealer. Warranty is transferrable.
The Used Truck After-Treatment System Limited Warranty is available for the following coverage (based on specified model year and mileage requirement):
- 12 months/100,000 miles
- 24 months/200,000 miles
